Hardwire Design’s first production model.

A beautiful Walnut body with a Pau Ferro fretboard and Maple neck this design blends traditional styles of electric guitar with modern pickups and wiring. Complete with Billet Aluminum plates in the Pickguard, Tremolo Cover, and Neck Plate, you can be sure this art piece will take your collection to the next level.

In designing this guitar we intended for it to be incredibly easy to work on, which is why we included threaded inserts in both the neck and the electronics cavity; to allow us to use machine screws which helps prevent the stripping of any screws. We also installed magnets in the tremolo cover to allow anyone to pop it off with a fingernail to adjust the tremolo, this is specifically needed in a setup as the guitar also comes with a Floyd Rose Tremolo. Unlike a traditional S-type, the pickguard is not located under the strings, this allows work to be done on the electronics without restringing the guitar. Documentation and plans can be found here.
